Outworked is built around friendly competition between people who already know each other. The "roast" tone, cap-voting, and public feed only work if everyone treats them as a game. These guidelines explain what that means in practice, and sit alongside our Terms of Service.
Each challenge's owner chooses its tone, from supportive to savage. Even at the spiciest setting, roast messages are meant to target missed goals and lost leaderboard spots — not a person's appearance, identity, or anything outside the challenge itself. If a roast or a comment crosses that line, report it to us at support@outworked.app.
Challenges are private and invite-only. Don't add someone who hasn't agreed to join, and don't use the invite flow to contact people outside of forming a challenge.
Post real photos of your own check-ins. Don't reuse an old photo to fake a new check-in, and don't post a photo of someone else without their permission. The "cap" vote exists so your challenge group can call out proof that looks faked — use it in good faith, not to gang up on someone.
Don't push yourself or encourage anyone else to do something physically unsafe to avoid a roast, protect a streak, or win a leaderboard spot. If a goal isn't realistic for you, talk to your challenge owner about changing it rather than pushing through an injury risk.
We review reports on a best-effort basis and may remove content, reverse points, or suspend an account at our discretion.
